Alex de Ramon is a Research Assistant intern at the Partnership for Global Security (PGS). He provides research and communications support for the GNI (Global Nexus Initiative) and INSG (Initiative on Nuclear Security, Governance, and Geopolitics) programs. His main research interests include nuclear nonproliferation and geopolitical competition with Russia and China.
Alex is currently pursuing a M.A. in International Affairs at George Washington’s Elliott School. He is planning to concentrate in Nuclear Policy, with a specific interest in arms control and US-Russia relations. He is also interning at the US Embassy in Uzbekistan through the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program. He obtained a B.A. in International Studies, concentrating in Foreign Policy and National Security, from American University.
