Zoe Babbit is a Research Assistant at the Partnership for Global Security interested in exploring the nexus between nuclear security and nuclear energy. She is currently a senior at American University studying International Relations and Japanese Language/Area Studies, with a concentration in Foreign Policy and National Security. Previously, Zoe gained experience tackling emerging international security issues facing Asia as an intern at the Mansfield Foundation. Her academic interests include East Asian nuclear security issues, debates surrounding the proliferation of tactical nuclear weapons, and nonproliferation policy. Outside of class, Zoe competes as a member of the American University Model UN Team, hosts a music radio show on campus, and enjoys reading contemporary Japanese literature.
