Zhuangqi Zheng (Steven) is a Research Assistant at the Partnership for Global Security, focusing on geopolitics, nuclear security, and nonproliferation. He is currently a first year MA in International Relations candidate at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and has recently graduated from Middlebury College with a major in International Politics and Economics. His academic interests primarily focus on nonproliferation challenges in Asia and US-China relations. At Middlebury College, Zhuangqi was a summer undergraduate fellow at James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in 2022, as well as a student advisor at the Rohatyn Center Student Advisory Board. He firmly believes in the possibility of real policy cooperation through regular and genuine exchange across the Pacific Ocean.
