Sarah Haviland is a Research Assistant at the Partnership for Global Security (PGS), where she provides research support for the Global Nexus Initiative and the Initiative on Nuclear Security, Governance and Geopolitics. Her main research interests include nuclear development in the Middle East and North Africa, nuclear technology and future warfare, nuclear technology and hostile non-state actors and state agents, and nuclear nonproliferation.
Sarah graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in Political Science and a Concentration in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. Her academic and professional research endeavors have focused on violent non-state actor dynamics, often analyzed through a gendered or rights-oriented lens.
