Ms. Brin recently completed her B.A. in International Relations and Spanish at Tufts University. Concentrating in International Security Studies, her capstone project examined Chinese compliance with sanctions against North Korea in the context of the nuclear crisis.
During her undergraduate career, Ms. Brin worked as a Research Assistant to a professor at Tufts who studies how governments respond to cross-border disease threats, particularly HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. While abroad in Madrid, Spain, she was awarded a research grant through the International Relations Research Scholars program at Tufts to undertake a related but self-driven project on how Spain dealt with Hepatitis C.
Outside of academics, she also belonged to the Sigma Iota Rho International Relations Honor Society.
