New Website for the 5 Priorities Campaign

On Monday, the White House announced that the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit will take place March 31 – April 1, 2016 in Washington, DC.

The 2016 summit could be the last meeting of top leaders that is devoted to nuclear security for a long time. The summit represents a crucial opportunity to create a lasting and sustainable system that will ensure nuclear security for the next generation.

As part of our efforts to make meaningful change, nuclear security experts from around the world developed and endorsed 5 priorities that world leaders must act on at the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit to strengthen nuclear security.

Today, in the wake of the White House’s announcement, we are launching a new #5Priorities campaign website and encouraging you to get involved. Visit the site to learn why this problem matters and what you can do about it.

Go to http://5priorities.org to check out the new site, and share it with your friends and family using the #5Priorities hashtag to encourage them to get involved! Keep checking back to 5priorities.org to get the latest news and information, and follow the Fissile Materials Working Group on Twitter and Facebook.
